What is the Philippines without its stunning islands fringed with white sands, turquoise waters filled with rich and diverse marine life? Our beaches have given us identity since their discovery — but more than that the ocean us a source of joy, recreation, community, sustenance, and livelihood.
In light of ocean month, we celebrate the country’s most well-loved and well-preserved beach spots in the Philippines through a series of postcards. We hope for many to take pride in these beautiful places and, in doing so, remind us to care for our seas and our future. The designs feature Siargao Island, La Union, Palawan, and Baler. We believe that these places do not only resemble paradise, their communities exemplify ocean care in inspiring and excellent ways.
